The COGS Awards
All great campaigns could not happen without the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to implement the idea and make it work. That's why the IPM and Promotional Marketing Magazine hold the Marketin g Services Awards - known as the The COGS.
Over 1300 voters from clients and agencies recommended over 200 marketing services companies in there different disciplines and after various rounds of judging and voting Promofix was announced as highly commended for the category of Promotional Merchandise Supplier.

"Hot Top 40" - Young Entrepreneurs 2010
Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Shropshire businesswoman is in the running to pick up a
top national title with a £10,000 prize. Out of hundreds
of applications, Kathryn Holloway has been listed in the top Hot 40 in the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Award 2010. Kathryn is the managing director of Coalport-based Promofix, a company which provides promotional items to businesses. The entrepreneur is one of six young businesspeople shortlisted in the Midlands and Yorkshire category, and 40 in the shortlist nationally.

Finalist - Best Startup of the Year 2010
LinkedIn European Business Awards 2010
Companies from all over Europe entered the first Linked in European Business Awards. Promofix was chosen out of 1000's of entries to be in the final 8 companies selected for the category of Best Startup Business.
Kathryn Holloway - Promofix Director added. "It was a great achievement for us to get this far, as we are very new using social media such as Linked In and Twitter to market Promofix and increase our networks online."

The Young People's Enterprise Partnership

The West Midlands had gained a 'UK' first after the Young People's Enterprise Partnership was officially launched. One of its first members is Kathryn Holloway- who has been selected to help drive the group forward so it can become the voice of Young People's Enterprise in the region. Backed by the Young People's Enterprise Centre of Expertise (YPECOE) and Advantage West Midlands, the Partnership will give some of area's brightest young talent the chance to speak up and influence future enterprise policy and strategy.

The Morgan Foundation Awards - Runner Up
Young Entrepreneur of the Year (under 25)
Kathryn was announced as a runner up, in this years Morgan Foundation Awards. The awards ceremony focuses on entrepreneurs who strive to achieve their goals within various different industries, charities and social enterprises. The judging was a very rigorous process so it was a great honor to awarded this prize

Best Small Business - Finalist
Shropshire Business Awards 2009
This year after a record number of entries Promofix was proud to be nominated and announced a finalist in the Shropshire Business Awards. This was the counties largest awards ceremony to celebrate the best Shropshire based businesses and we were very pleased to be involved in it.

NSPCC - Shropshire Business Group - Events Coordinator
Kathryn was a founding member of the NSPCC - Shropshire Business Group to raise funds to help project children from abuse and neglect all funds the group raises will go towards funding vital services within Shropshire and the West Midlands. Kathryn has joined the committee to help with fund raising ideas, produce promotional literature and also organise the various different events throughout the year for Shropshire business people.

Telford Young Professionals - Chairperson
A Telford networking group which aims to help young professionals develop strong business relationships has appointed a new chairman Kathryn Holloway of Promofix Ltd. Telford Young Professionals is backed by Telford Business Partnership and Transforming Telford, and supports the next generation of business leaders.
The TYP group is aimed at young business professionals aged between 18 and 35, to help them meet their peers in a relaxed environment at regular and informal events.

Make Your Mark / Enterprise UK - Ambassador
Kathryn Holloway of Promofix Ltd has been appointed an official ambassador for the Make Your Mark campaign.
Make Your Mark is the national campaign to unlock the UK's enterprise potential. It inspires people to have ideas and make them happen and aims to create a culture which supports enterprising people and recognises that making money and having a positive social impact can go hand in hand.
The campaign is brought to life through the inspirational stories of successful entrepreneurs and enterprising individuals in the world of work, which is why Kathryn has been chosen. Kathryn is already making her ideas happen by continuing to improve on the success of Promofix into the second year of trading and she was awarded Shropshire's Young Entrepreneur of the year award. Pride of Shropshire - Young Entrepreneur of the Year - Winner
Kathryn was crowned Young Entrepreneur of the Year at a glittering awards ceremony held in Shrewsbury. The competition was tough, so many thanks for everyone that nominated us.
