At the Promofix HQ we have a very special member of staff. Hes a small furry character called Wookie who's a 12 month old Pomeranian.

When we saw Emmerdale were holding a competition to see who could star in a episode of the soap and be a "Dog for the Dales" we jumped at the chance and decided to enter Wookie. After a sunny Sunday morning filming with the super talented film student Tom Henshaw from Shrewsbury and a helping hand from his dad. This was end result (hes even got his own soundtrack).

WOW we came across this amazing combination of stop go animation and post it notes. The animation is called Dead Line and took 3 months of planning, 4 days of shooting and over 6000 post it notes to make. The team that created this sure had a lot of patience and also used plently of post it notes.

We came across this amazing video today showing one of MTV's new TV adverts. Well this is novel. Fresh. New. Different. And yet, a riff on an old favorite: the flip book. It's really quite ingenious.

The one minute commercial tells a story using images drawn on hundreds of balloons which are then popped by a device with a camera mounted on a dolly which travels at a speed fast enough to pop and film 10 balloons each second.

If you look closely, you can see the dolly took several different trips down thr track to get the entire story told. Very cool. We like - this really takes branded balloons to the extreme and it has a catchy little tune too.

We came across this amazing video today showing the Tempest Free Running Academy. Watch this epic video show casing some of the obstacles and areas found at The Academy. Tempest Freerunning Academy is California's first indoor training facility solely dedicated to the growth and spread of freerunning and parkour.
